Financial support

The Foundation encourages and supports literary projects, particularly through the provision of financial assistance. Applications made to the Foundation are submitted to the Council for decision within one to three months. The criteria for awarding support are based on the quality and originality of the project, its literary interest and evidence of a need for financing.

Over recent years, the Fondation Jan Michalski pour l’Ecriture et la Littérature has supported a considerable number of projects, both in Switzerland and abroad.
