Open Day
After over two years of building work, the Jan Michalski Foundation invited the inhabitants of Montricher and its neighbouring villages to visit the Maison de l’Ecriture, which is still under construction in Montricher.
On a beautiful autumnal day, the visitors were able to walk around under the canopy and, by following a specially prepared route with nine features, to discover the library with its oak galleries, the auditorium, the underground reception area and the exhibition space. The many children enjoyed an interpretation of a story by Pierre Gripari, « The Pair of Shoes ».
At the end of the visit, everyone gathered together to try some local specialities and exchange their impressions.
