Library

Located at the heart of the Maison de l’Ecriture, the multicultural library’s holdings on its five floors will include the masterpieces of world literature. It will hold over 85’000 works, precious books and unpublished manuscripts covering a broad spectrum of literary tendencies and linguistic cultures.

The Library’s collections will include contemporary literature from the XXth and XXIst centuries, fine art monographs and works on politics that shed light on our era.

With a view to offering the public and Internet users the best of current numerical resources, the collections will be supplemented by multimedia materials, including electronic reviews, interactive files and video on demand.

The Library will open in 2012. It will be available to researchers and students, and on certain days to the public.
